Morgan update

Through ancillary channels, UCLA is monitoring the situation regarding LSU signee J'mison Morgan, a center from South Oak Cliff High in Dallas.
LSU fired coach John Brady during the season, and is reportedly hiring Stanford's Trent Johnson. But Morgan's high school coach, James Mays, said he believes Morgan will remain at LSU.
"He's with LSU,'' Mays said. "He was sold on the school, not the coach."

Interesting verb choice there by the coach.

Thanks for the update, Brian! Doesn't sound too promising. But then that's just the opinion of the high school coach who might not know Morgan is thinking seriously of switching. Morgan might not want him to know anything if he is biased toward LSU. But it's good to know UCLA is keeping in contact with Morgan.

word is that Trent Johnson is going to move from Stanford to LSU and that Morgan will lock onto him as a good coach of the 5 spot, aka the Lopez twins. Hope that CBH can do something to change Morgan's mind.
