On the sidelines

This last note didn’t quite make the paper:

UCLA has invited hundreds of juniors to practice on Saturday, but one coveted prospect made the trip out to California a little early.

Aaron Murray, a junior quarterback from Plant City, Fla. who has over 50 scholarship offers, attended the first day of spring practice.

Also spotted: incoming recruits Anthony Dye (Corona Santiago), Kevin Prince (Crespi of Encino) and E.J. Woods (Crespi).
