Take the poll? Will Kansas or Memphis win the NCAA title?
In the poll I put up before the Final Four, 72 percent of you thought UCLA would play North Carolina in the final. Of the 1,261 votes, only 14 votesr (or 1 percent of those polled) chose a Kansas-Memphis final.
Who do you think will win the championship?

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.

but a more interesting question is.. who should be #3 when the final polls come out? At least we kept it relatively close in our game.. UNC got blown out for all of 35 minutes, though of course, UNC had a better season leading up to said game....

As I do when UCLA is not in the final, get the VHS out of the 1995 Championship game between Arkansas and UCLA...getting old but it makes the night go much better.
If Memphis wins, we'd have lost to the eventual champion 3 years in a row.
I'm not sure if that makes me feel better or not, but it is what it is.
