Every time I ask tight end Logan Paulsen about his hair the story gets better and better. First, he said that he hasn't cut his hair since freshman year, save for the occasional trim to clean things up. Then today, he said that at some point, he's going to cut his hair and donate it to charity.

Speaking of hair ... I have an unconfirmed report out of Birmingham High that Dennis Keyes has cut his hair. If you know Dennis, or his family, this is a big deal. The new look is for the next stage of his life. Keyes is rated among the top 20 safeties entering this years NFL draft.

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
