Waiting on BoBo

From my understanding, UCLA is still waiting for J’mision Morgan’s signed scholarship papers. Once signed and returned, it binds UCLA to Morgan, but Morgan remains free to change his mind and go to another school until attends his first class at UCLA.

What, this kid already left LSU at the “wedding altar,” and now he is going to do it to a second school? Come on, even ‘Runaway Bride’ had a few principles.

Yeah, Bobo is such a horrible kid for having second thoughts after the coaching staff that recruited him left.

He’s not a standup amateur athlete like OJ Mayo.

Look, he could still sign it and send it in and still decide not to attend UCLA. Nothing binds him to UCLA until he is enrolled in school and attends classes.

Either he’s like most kids his age and doesn’t turn in his homework early… or he’s still on the fence. Let it play out and see.

Is that different than signing a typical LOI?

i believe in a typical LOI, should the student decide to leave, it requires that the school release him.. if they don’t, and he still leaves, he’s a “transfer” and sits out for a year.

as for him being on the fence, I don’t know what was the point of the press conference was then. He commits to LSU, then makes a press conference stating he’s UCLA-bound, only to change his mind again? not likely. I just think there’s no rush (and there really isn’t), and he’s just taking his sweet time.

    Thanks James.
