Joe Abunassar, who runs Abunassar Impact Basketball and is training Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, said UCLA will get a much better offensive player if Mbah a Moute returns for his senior season.
“With Luc, it’s footwork, being square (to the basket) and a lot of repetition,” Abunassar said. “If he can knock down shots, he becomes a really dangerous pro player because he’s got the long arms, can defend, has the body, he’s smart.
“We’re working out four or five hours a day shooting the ball, and confidence comes from that. …The UCLA coaches, they’re thrilled with Luc putting the work in because they’re supportive of Luc, and if he does come back, he’s a better player anyway. It’s a win-win.”
