Austin jumps after all
UCLA coach Art Venegas had said Terrence Austin wouldn't jump this week, but Austin said he told him to come out Tuesday and see how he felt. Austin felt pretty good Tuesday, got his uniform, took it easy the rest of the week, then finished second today in the high jump. Austin cleared 6-8 3/4. UCLA's Jonathan Clark won the high jump at 6-8 3/4 and finished first based on fewer misses. The Bruins swept the high jump. More on Austin later.
