I am going to see the documentary ``Gunnin' for No. 1'' in an hour. Kevin Love is in the movie, so I'll have a report on it this afternoon. I'll update you as soon as possible if there's anything new on J'Mison Morgan.

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
Let's see, Morgan says he wants to go out west;
He says he submitted his paperwork to LSU on Sunday;
LSU denies receiving it;
Could it be that LSU is having second thoughts about releasing the kid?-- But that would be plain vindictive, especially since Morgan is going out of conference.
Maybe it's a SEC vs. Pac-10 thing. Did anyone tick off Tennessee when UCLA went down south for football?
