Love's impromptu signing session

| | Comments (0) |

Kevin Love and his dad, Stan Love, went to the Lakers-Nuggets Game 2, and Kevin was shown on the JumboTron when the Lakers show celebrities in the crowd. That might have had something to do with the impromptu autograph session he conducted as he was walking courtside to leave Staples Center after the game.
``We were walking out through the crowd, and Kevin was mobbed,'' Stan Love said. ``Kevin wasn't ready for that. He had hundreds of people around him wanting pictures and autographs. He's a huge celebrity. He did about 40 minutes (signing). He did really well. When people show him a lot of love, he tries to give back.''

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
