It should be noted, again, that the only things UCLA could comment on regarding J'Mison Morgan are whether it has received the official release form and whether he is an athlete the school is recruiting. UCLA doesn't have to do either, of course. The school issued a statement earlier today that it wouldn't comment on student athletes who had not signed a letter of intent or offer of financial aid.

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
Is it just me or is http://www.dailynews.com/ucla stuck in last week???
I noticed that older stories and blogs are listed as the most recent on dailynews.com/ucla. I notified people at the Daily News on Tuesday, and they are still working to solve the problem. Other blogs have this problem, too. Please be patient while they work to correct the problem. Also, if you click on ''Inside Ucla with Brian Dohn'' instead of the individual blog entry headline, you will get the most recent blogs.
