Morgan released?

Fox Sports has a report that LSU has released J'Mison Morgan from his letter of intent.
This would not be shocking if it happened. Ronnie Morgan told me last week that he believed the Tigers would let Morgan out of his letter of intent. And Trent Johnson said publicly last week that he wasn't going to beg a kid to play for him.
``They haven't made an (official) decision yet, but they say they're going to (grant the release),'' Ronnie Morgan said last week.

I was out at U.S. Open media day in San Diego today, so sorry for the late post.

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's fifth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
