One thing to keep in mind is his recruitment could be slowed down by a new NCAA rule that has the last nine days of May as a dead period, meaning recruits cannot take visits to campuses.
The dead period begins Thursday and runs through the end of the month, so even though Stepheson is supposed to visit UCLA before Thursday, it could push his timetable back because it could keep the North Carolina transfer from visiting other schools.
