The letter of intent

Click here to read the story I wrote about Morgan in today's paper. Just wanted to highlight the part about Morgan being unable to sign a letter-of-intent. A student athlete can't sign more than one letter-of-intent per year, but Morgan could sign a written offer of financial aid. The glaring difference is that offers of financial aid are not binding.

I believe the offer of financial aid is indeed bonding, but only for the school. Bottom line, J'Mison is fair game until he enrolls.
