Here is the seventh set of answers:

Is there a rivalry between you and the guys from rivals and scout?
I don't feel like it is any different than any other rivalry. We are all friends, but we each want to get stories. I believe their focus is more on recruiting, and mine is more on the program.

Do you think the guys on the Deadliest Catch eat some of the crab they catch while on the boat or do they just keep it all for profit?
I know I would. I wonder, though, if it is possible to get sick of the succulent task of king crab because you eat too much of it. Man, I'm getting hungry.

When did the whole APR thing begin? I don't remember it being discussed in years past.
About two or three years ago because the NCAA wanted to hold schools accountable for poor graduation rates.

I read that upcoming UCLA football schedule is the 4th toughest in the nation by last years win percentage of their opponents. Do you agree with that? If so, do you think it is to the Bruin's advantage given where they are in rebuilding ?
I don't know everyone else's schedule, but I could see that. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the toughest in the nation. I don't think it is good for UCLA this year because Tennessee and BYU, the first two opponents, are very physical teams, and that could prove damaging later in the season and hurt the confidence of younger players. Plus, UCLA could find itself out of a bowl game, which would not be good for recruiting.

It's been mentioned that Luc is almost graduate or perhaps a Quarter short to graduate. Is this one of the reasons that he's willing to stay on the draft even being as a 2nd Rounder rather than come back for another season?
He told me it is a very, very small part of it. He wants to play in the NBA very badly. That is the motivation.

UCLA has had a great tradition in the Summer Olympics.
what current and former athletes are competing in them, for USA and for other countries? and how does it compare to other universities in the Pac-10, around the country?
I do not know, mostly because many of the trials for the Olympic team need to take place. Once it is known, though, you will be able to read it here.

Football has looked really soft in recent seasons. I'd like to see them get more aggressive and physical. Was that softness a reflection of Karl Dorrell's coaching style or the athletes just didn't have it in them to be physical?
I think it was the athletes didn't have it in them. Dorrell asked them to be physical and aggressive and all that stuff, but those aren't the types of kids UCLA has on its team. To me, that is the biggest issue with UCLA football.

Has the coaching staff mentioned anything about moving incoming freshman Derrick Coleman to linebacker? He looks like he could put a beating on people.
He will begin at running back because the staff wants to take a look at having a big, physical runner at that position. If that doesn't work out, his next spot would be fullback. I have not heard anything about a move to linebacker.

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
