Bottoms up at the Rose Bowl
Jim Purol, a stuntman, plans to sit in every seat at the Rose Bowl (capacity 92,542) in five consecutive days beginning on July 7. The ''festivities'' begin at 10 a.m. July 7. The event is free and open to the public. Purol is collecting donations and pledges for the program Outward Bound Los Angeles.

This is

man, you got me excited that they were going to start serving beer at the rose bowl. oh well, i guess the flask will have to do for one more year.
This sounds like a pretty boring stunt. Why doesn't he do something like juggle footballs while riding a unicycle through the Rose Bowl?
Outward Bound is a great cause...thumbs up to Jim Purol
They should incorporate something like trying to hit Jim using one of those t-shirt or hotdog firing guns you see at basketball games. Charge $1 to $5 a shot and perhaps a company will donate $100 for every time Jim is hit. Make it real interactive spectator event instead of watching a man sit up and down.
I'm confused... what exactly is there to see? The event is open to the public to watch a guy stand up and sit down? Uh, ok - count me out, I see that happen everyday. By the way, I'll give him $5. Where do I send it?
I hope he uses extreme caution for this most dangerous of stunts. He could encounter any number of pitfalls on his mission, from a splinter to a sore calf muscle. Godspeed, brave sitter!
