Edwards on preparations
As I wrote yesterday, Edwards told me he needs to pass two more junior college classes with at least a `B' in order to gain admittance to UCLA. He said he's confident he'll do that. He said he's also lifting weights and working on technique this summer.
``The coaches told me to get things done (academically) and prepare myself for a Division I football game against Tennessee,'' Edwards said.

He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
