Love n' New York
Stan Love, the father of former UCLA center Kevin Love, said his son would be attending the NBA draft in New York on June 26. He said a table at the draft has been secured for Love and some family members.
Also, here is a story I wrote for today's paper on UCLA players readying for workouts with NBA teams. (Obviously, it was written before Russell Westbrook told me this morning he was signing with an agent).
On a different note, I hope everyone liked the video of the UCLA season-ending banquet. Sorry for breaking it into five parts, but the file was so huge it was the only way our tech folks could get it on the blog.

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
