Love's measurements

| | Comments (4) |

Here are some numbers on former UCLA center Kevin Love from the NBA pre-draft camp, where he tested for NBA teams but did not play. He was 6-9 ½ in shoes (6-7 ¾ without), with a 6-11 ¼ wingspan and an 8-10 standing reach. His body was 12.9 percent. He jumped 35 inches, lifted the 185-pound bar 18 times, and ran well (11.17, 3.22).
Here is more from DraftExpress.

The only surprising stat is the 35-inch jump. That's hard to believe.

pretty incredible that with as big as kevin is he still jumped 35 inches. thats a lot more than guys a lot smaller and supposedly more athletic than him. i do think he height hurts him though.

Why do schools overstate the players' measurements. Wasn't Kevin Love listed at 6'10"?
