UCLA freshman Maria Jose Uribe is three shots back in the U.S. Open. Third round is underway. Uribe is playing as an amateur. She’s also the defending U.S. Amateur champion.

Kevin Love said he’ll live with his brother in Minneapolis, where he will play for the Timberwolves. Kevin lived offcampus with his brother during his freshman year at UCLA.

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute was a second-round selection (37th pick overall) by Milwaukee and his focus will be to make the NBA team. He was unsure about his prospects for playing on Cameroon’s Olympic team.
“I don’t know about that,” Mbah a Moute said. “Right now, I’m just trying to focus on making the team and getting accustomed to the team. I’ll think about Olympic stuff after that.”
