Possible Landing spots for Love and Westbrook

| | Comments (6) |

After working the phones all day Wednesday, here's the most likely destinations for Kevin Love and Russell Westbrook, barring any trades

Love: Minnesota at No. 3, Memphis at No. 5

Westbrook: Seattle at No. 4, the Knicks at No. 6 or the Clippers at No. 7

Things could get interesting if those teams make a trade, or elect to go in a different direction with their picks. Because of the depth of this draft, and all the trades that have been talked about in the last few days, it's incredibly hard to predict. But those are my best guesses right now.

Wow! A post at 3:23am, what kind of hours do you keep?

Dohn complains if he has to make a post at 11pm!

I dont think love will go before rose, beasly and mayo. also, hopefully none of the bruins go to the clippers, i wouldnt wish that on anyone.

Would hate to be a GM drafting after Rose and Beasly are taken. Love, Westbrook, or Mayo is not what I would want to build a team around. Love is not even 6'8" after ucla listed him at 6'10". What position is he going to play? Westbrook is not a good shooter, and Mayo could not hit the college 3s let alone the NBA's.

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
