Am I the only one worried that Gordon broke his foot last year and recently had a frayed meniscus repair. I wish both were taking summer classes instead.

yeah . . .neither one of them should ever exercise again.

Taking summer classes allows them to get some academics out of the way and take a lighter load when bball season starts.

i believe they will enroll in the second summer session.

Yeah, good idea to get them academics out of the way so they can concentrate on basketball. I only hope that this concentration pays off in the form of a big professional contract some day, because otherwise they may have to work for a living, and might be in need of that college degree.

I trust that your major was not in English given your response. Glad your hard earned education has paid such dividends.

By george, some people isn't going to see no joke unless it is explained to them.

I was not commenting about your inappropriate use of "them" which I attributed to your poor sense of sarcasm but rather your unintentional and incorrect use of punctuation. Perhaps, you, should, review, third, grade, grammar, to, learn, the, appropriate, use, of, commas.

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
