Here is the eighth set:

Regarding Kevin Love, even though he was a #5 pick, do you think he will be an impact pro? What are you hearing from pro scouts about what KL showed during workouts? I think he will have an impact, and during his career make an all-star team or two. He can rebound, shoot, pass and is such a heady player that he can survive. The thing I kept hearing about Love in the workouts was he was more athletic than teams originally thought, and he had tremendous composure.

And what might Luc think about being drafted by the Bucks? It should be a good fit for him. Going early in the second round gives him a good chance to make the team, and he's in a market that can wait for him to grow as an offensive player.

what classes are arron afflalo taking?I have no idea, nor do I care.

the usc blog constantly talks about the song girl, what do you have to say about the ucla dance team? That I'm getting old because I don't really care about the dance team (or the cheerleaders for that matter).

Do you enjoy covering UCLA? Do you consider yourself a UCLA fan? I know your heart seems to be in New Jersey.I love covering UCLA. I spend my fall days watching football practice or covering games, the winters doing hoops and dealing with a lot of very nice, humble, smart kids. I am not a UCLA fan, but I am a fan of many of the players because they are good people and come from good families. As for my heart being in New Jersey, I don't know if that is true. I just love Rutgers.

any update on Stanback's transfer? As previously stated, he has visited Washington and N.C. State, is supposed to visit UNLV and I was told also looked at Georgia Tech and Wake Forest.

how was crab fishing? After a week on the Northwestern, I was able to bait the crab pots with the chum Sig supplied rather than the chum I supplied from seasickness.

How come the media had so much coverage of Mario Danelo's (so cal punter) death, but hardly gave any coverage, other than a little blurb, about Marcus Cassel's death?I covered Cassel's death, and I know I wrote about it for days. Danelo's death was a little more odd than a car accident, which is why it got more play.

Did you miss all of us monday morning quaterbacks?Just as much as the quarterbacks from Tuesday-Sunday.

I was just wondering what you think of the olympics. Do you pay attention or even care about them? What is your favorite event?I don't really like the Olympics, and I will watch very little of them. I find them nothing but a commercialized political game filled with cheaters and whiners. I will, however, watch the soccer.

One difference between Danelo and Cassell was that Danelo was an active player who was going to return for another year while Cassell had already graduated the year before. This may sound crass, but Cassell's tragic death would have shaken me up much more had he been a player at the time.
