Any ideas on why it was decisded that UCLA and USC would not wear home jerseys?Yeah, the offending team would be charged a timeout at the beginning of each half, and neither school is willing to pay that penalty to wear a jersey.

from what youve seen so far, does coach chow match certain expectations of him being a "genius" and "great" at being the OC, in your eyes? if yes or no, how so? what have u seen? All I needed to see was how he called the plays in the spring game. He kept the defense off-balance and allowed the offense to move the ball, at times, despite using quarterbacks with no experience, and very little practice time. Because of Chow, I think this offense has a chance to be workable.

You mentioned that you had to warm up Ben Olson the other morning when his receiver was a little late in arriving. Please tell us that you didn't cry like a little (SC) girl when he threw it too hard. :-)The more important thing is he didn't cry when he had to catch my passes.

If Aaron Meyer has enough credits to graduate and is leaving the program, why would he transfer/enroll at a school like Nichols St? Is playing time the issue?Because he was never going to play at UCLA, but he can get the UCLA degree, return close to his New Orleans-area home and still play a season of college football.

I'm assuming you've seen Harkey play at the 7 on 7's. What stands out about him? He came in under the radar especially with the class UCLA is brining in, and then the players are already talking about him being the future at that position. Does he have potential or was that just talk? Do you see him only playing in passing situations this year?He has nice hands, runs good patterns, has a good frame to carry the weight of a tight end and understands football. They do not attempt running plays in 7-on-7 very often, and blocking isn't part of the routine, so his blocking ability remains to be seen.

Has Ben Howland and the program given any thought to a fantasy basketball camp for the general public? Not that I'm aware of. To be honest, given Howland's personality, I don't see it happening. I don't think he wants to listen to, or instruct, a bunch a over-aged, out of shape guys. No offense, since I'm one of them.

Is preferred walkon Carlo Valdez out of Mater Dei at the 7/7s? Are anyone else not on scholie participating and standing out? I know Carlo is pretty fast and was getting a look by WSU. I do not know, but will check it out when I'm out there next week and let you know.
