Answers, Part XIII

Folks, thanks for all the questions. I knew there would be a lot because I was away for so long, and you did not disappoint. I'm sorry to break it up over two days, but I do it that way because listing all the questions at once is not reader-friendly. (It does not have to do with blog hits)
Here is the final set of answers, and I will have more stuff throughout the weekend about football and basketball.

Is Raymond Carter the safest bet in terms of assuming who the starter will be against UT? I remain a bit skeptical about Kahlil Bell being ready, but he's been telling me (and everyone else who asks) that he will be ready. Somewhere in the last month or so I flipped and decided Bell will be ready, so I expect him to be the starter.

Is Milton Knox expected to be involved in returning kicks and punts this year? It's too early to tell, but I think he will get a look there.

Is Dominique Johnson an NFL caliber receiver? I don't think so, and haven't run into any scout or coach who thinks that.

you mentioned that there was a collison sighting at the men's gym. when are good days/times to watch pick-up games at the men's gym?UCLA prefers that not to be published because they don't want a bunch of people showing up. Sorry.

Can you please predict whether or not [fill in the blank] will commit to UCLA? Can you tell us the next three commits for UCLA football, in alphabetical order? Also, exactly how many games will UCLA basketball win, and by what scores? Finally, is it possible to ask you worse questions, or should I just be asking for stock tips?Fill in the blank will commit in early August, probably the week of ... As for the next three commitments, I can't list them because you didn't say if you wanted the first or last names alphabetized, and the scores of the games will have to wait since the schedule isn't done yet.
As for worse questions, I'm sure if you put your mind to it, you could come up with some, but it will be hard.
Yes, like yourself, the conjecture associated with some questions I receive is incredible. Perhaps I can place 50 recruits' names in a hat and pull them out, and list my top 50 guys to commit next to UCLA.

If you do not like a question, simply ignore it. There is absolutely no reason to ridicule the questioner.

why is lance stephenson not listing UCLA on his recruiting list anymore? Is it because we stopped recruiting him or he lost interest, or maybe he won't qualify? I know he has attitude problems but I still think he's a great talent.
