Did UCLA ever give a definitive reason for not retaining him? I had heard the new coaching staff didn't want the baggage that he brings. It just seems strange that he was given a second chance by Coach Dorrell and an entire season passed before, all of a sudden his past transgressions became an issue again. I hope that's not true, since Rick Neuheisel is the last person qualified to judge someone else based on their past baggage.
Wonder if he'll still be loyal to UCLA and steer any inner city talent he has our way?
Don't worry Centennial is pretty bad.
I never heard the whole story, was his departure amicable?
