Football stuff
I was at UCLA's 7-on-7 Thursday and the thing that jumped out at me was the ability of several of the freshmen defensive backs, particularly Aaron Hester and Rahim Moore. Both are instinctual, although their technique needs work.
Several returning players were also raving about freshman receiver Antwan Moutra. Freshman receiver Nelson Rosario did not participate because of a hand injury, but it is not thought to be serious.
Also, quarterback Ben Olson (foot surgery) is cleared and began running, but did not throw in the drills. He said he is hoping to start throwing Monday.
There is one notable position change. Chinonso Anyanwu moved from defensive end to strong side linebacker.
Ahhhh.... :) It's great to hear some football news. I can smell the BBQ already. I can see the beautiful Arroyo Seco nestled behind the glorious Rose Bowl. I can hear the band, Jeff's bell, the hot dance team leading 8-claps... 53 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
VB, there will be more football updates over the weekend, not to mention a few hoops ones as well. But today is mostly reserved for the Q&A, unless news happens.

Yes Dohn, we would love to chill with you before the game. You'll get to meet UB, PB, VB, BB, EB, DB, OB and RB. By far, we are the most best, most die-hard Bruins in Lot H. We get there at the butt-crack of dawn, often hopping the baracades. And we are the loudest group of 8 in Tunnel 19.
Come and see us on September 1st. Lot H, Rose Bowl Drive, under the 1st Sycamore Tree. I'll have a video camera, naturally.

I am familiar with your posts on BG as well. I know that some BG guys get together too for some tailgates during the season. I think that they usually tailgate on the Golf Course side of the RB, though. If you want to hang in Lot H, let us know and we can tell you where to meet us.
