About Inside UCLA
This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.About this Entry

Sometime during the barbeque, drinking, friends, family, and fireworks, let's take a moment to remember the significance of the day and what many brave people did so long ago. Still the best country in the history of the world!
Independence Day. I bet our Founding Fathers would turn over in their graves (or quiver in their urns) if they saw how the freedom of speech they fought so hard to obtain had morphed into an internet fraught with nitpicking, name-calling, parochial-attituded people.
Thanks, Jill. Thank you also for substituting for Brian. You do good work. Happy 4th. Stay safe.
TRUTH, had you been around in Colonial days, our founding fathers would have added an asterisk after the 1st amendment to exempt sniveling little trolls.
Or at the very least, they'd have found you just as annoying as we do.
Remember... just ignore ONLYTHETRUTH. He purposefully posts comments to stir the bag. I have to give him credit though as he definetly knows how to push the edge.
Also... when is the red bar at the top of this blog gonna go away? I thought Brian mentioned this would be easy for the tech guys to do, however, it's been months now.
See what I mean?
