Hoops recruiting
I get a lot of questions about Fairfax High standout Renardo Sidney and to what level UCLA is recruiting him. In talking to a few sources, the Bruins are in a wait-and-see mode, and are not pushing hard for him.

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
"wait and see" = forget it!!!!!
If wait and see refers to his attitude, which nevers gets better, RS WILL NOT change overnight to where the staff will say OK. Kitani ain't going to Ben and say "okay Ben, Renardo is a good boy now",,,,like overnight.
I think RS is a perfect for europe. He's not getting hawked like he wanted, his whole family has been gearing his focus to the pros AND NOT SCHOOL.
Why are Bruin fans so obsessed with this Sidney guy? Dude is a horrible student and isn't any better than the other players we recruit. CAN WE ALL JUST FORGET ABOUT THIS GUY? Let him flunk out of USC for pretty boy Floyd.
