Moline and FB

In talking to the coaching staff, UCLA plans to use junior running back Chane Moline in a hybrid role this season, having him split time between tailback (mostly for short yardage) and also utilizing him as a fullback.
For those that remember how Manuel White was used, it sounds like it will be similar to that.

I'm younger. So who is Manuel White? Or a better question would be, how was he used?

Manny White was a big fast stud running back inherited by Karl Dorell. Karl started off his coaching tenure in a blaze of ignominy by failing to use Manny in his first game, against Colorado.

Well, with Theriot at Fullback and our strongest man on the team, and best blocker with adept hands and yet to be tested killer running style, wait - only TD in the spring game, the north state has this inside scoop - Theriot will be the mainstay at fullback in catching and running the ball at 240 pounds with speed almost 10% faster.
