What a Rush
Rather than transfer to UC-Davis and participate in wrestling, I'm hearing former UCLA fullback Dylan Rush will begin a career as a mixed martial arts fighters. I'm also hearing one of the reasons Rush is not going to UC-Davis is because he could not get a full wrestling scholarship.

This is

What happened to Rush? Wasn't he a 4 star stud coming out of high school?
There are 250+ 4 star guys a year. So a 4 star doesnt mean a whole lot. I think Rush didnt have a position. He was a wrestler with no real position.
Shades of Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, the former Bruin O-lineman who played for Pepper Rodgers then became a pro wrestler eventually working for the then-WWF. Also, this brings to mind former Bruin hoopster Brad Wright who went from the hardwood to donning a mask as a "luchador," in Mexico where "pro wrestling is real."
Dont knock Mixed martial arts(MMA). MMA is a very fast growing sport. Many say MMA will soon surpass boxing and i see that coming as well. Ive been to many boxing matches and compared to MMA, I think MMA is more entertaining and a better product.
BTW this isnt a response to you mario. I was just stating my view to those who may not understand MMA and its recent explosion.
nobody is knocking mma. people are knocking rush's chance of making it big. the wrestlers who have made it to a top level are all-american wrestlers. rush - while he did well at the high school level in hawaii - apparently can't get a scholarship to wrestle at uc davis? i don't know the full story behind this but that is how it appears.
BTW, Tubby420, thanks for answering my question to Brian last Friday regards Bobo Morgan...also, Neidhart played briefly for Oakland before entering The Squared Circle...
This message is for Mario DiLeo . You are so far off your facts, I am sure you thought Prez Bush has a 3rd term comming. This is regarding former UCLA Basketball Player Brad Wright. I ran into him at The USC game last year and he was the Vice President for the NBADL L.A Clipper Affiliate. When he graduated from UCLA, He played a year in the CBA then played with the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets. From there he went to Italy and Spain where he finished his 15 year career. He then went on to restart the 15 year dormant L.A. Pierce College Basketball team as Head Coach. He never wrestled in Mexico or anywhere else.
