Post-practice update

UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel was not pleased with the offense’s practice today, saying they needed to understand the tempo and pace had to be high every practice. He said RB Kahlil Bell and TE Logan Paulsen were strong leaders, but more were needed.
On the field, Chris Forcier appeared to out-perform Kevin Craft is what quickly became a two-quarterback race.
OL coach Bob Palcic continued to tinker with the offensive line by taking left guard Darius Savage and right tackle Nate Chandler off the first team. Scott Glicksberg played at left guard and Nick Ekbatani was at right tackle. It left Sonny Tevaga at right guard.
Also, middle linebacker Reggie Carter left practice early after a collision with Bell. Carter was feeling a little woozy.
As a side note, I will on 830-AM at 7:20 p.m. today in Los Angeles.
