I’m hearing UCLA will host a number of recruits on unofficial visits for the season opener against Tennessee on Sept. 1, although final plans are still being formulated. Most of the committed kids will be in attendance, including Los Osos quarterback Richard Brehaut and Arcadia linebacker Todd Golper. There should also be a number of uncommitted players in attendance.
Also, I’m now being told Columbus (Ga.) Carver High offensive lineman Chris Hubbard will be making an official visit the weekend of Oct. 4, when the Bruins host Washington State.
