Recruiting watch

I’m hearing the number of high school recruits who could show up at UCLA’s opener Monday against Tennessee may top 50. Be mindful not all will be Pac-10 caliber players, but building relationships with schools, and its players, is very important in the recruiting process.
That said, here are the high-profile players I’m hearing are planning to attend;
UCLA commits
QB Richard Brehaut (Los Osos of Rancho Cucamonga), LB Isaiah Bowens (Bishop Amat of La Puente and LB Todd Golper (Arcadia)

Other 2009 recruits
Arizona commit TE Chris Coyle (Oaks Christian of Westlake), TE J.T. Kerr (Scripps Ranch of San Diego), WR Ricky Marvray (Centennial of Corona), USC commit S Byrone Moore (Narbonne), OT Michael Philipp (Arroy Valley of San Bernardino) and USC commit TE Morrell Presley (Carson).

2010 recruits
LB Hayes Pollard of Crenshaw, WR Robert Woods (Serra Gardena) and S Sean Parker (Narbonne).

    Although I think that Bryon Moore publically indicated that Southern Cal is where he wants to be, I hope the coaching staff can someway, somehow, by virtue of some miracle, convince him to return to UCLA.

    Is Hayes Pollard related to Marlon Pollard?

    Byron Moore will get to see where he can get on the field faster. Same with Presley.

    What a bunch of nonsense that Byron Moore is coming to this game . The guy is a major turncoat and so is his father. They were pumping up UCLA and then switch to USC and then talk about how they always wanted to be at USC and it was Byron Jr’s favorite since childhood. Why in the world are we wasting a recruit ticket on either the father or the son? Are they still playing Neu?
