Here is the ninth set of answers:

Did you just change your bio to reflect a new season? Now it's six years covering UCLA? How about changing the RU stuff to more accurately reflect their last season? 8-5 isn't the same as 2006's 11-2. Notwithstanding our own 6-7 of course!
I had somebody change the bio, since I don't know how to. I figured I should be accurate, since this is my sixth season covering UCLA. As for the rest of the bio, it still all stands true.

how come UCLA does not try again to built their own football stadium on campus? i mean i live in rancho cucamonga i would to drive to campus every saturday to watch my bruins play. whats stopping them from building a football stadium?
It is a story I pursued a few years ago, and the reality is UCLA missed its chance decades ago to expand Drake Stadium. Now, the residential community around UCLA is too powerful, and would never allow it to happen.

There was an article about Chow giving Olson a book titled 'The Inner Game of Tennis.' I've been reading the book and found it very interesting. Has Chow also assigned the book to Craft and Forcier?
I'm familiar with it because I wrote the story. I don't know if Chow gave it to the other quarterbacks to read, but I will check.

Christian Ramirez is one of my favorite on the team how is his attitutde, during the scrimmage it seemed he was fired up on the sidelines it must be hard to be in his situation?
His attitude is fine. He knows he wasted a great chance this season, but also knows it is his fault.

is EJ WOODS likely to redshirt because he is "behind" strictly from a FB perspective OR is it a "personal" issue that u cannot comment on?
It is a football issue. UCLA thinks he will be a tremendous player, but right now he is far down on the depth chart. It will also give him a chance to get acclimated to the academics, but the decision to red-shirt him is purely related to football.

How much will Rutgers beat/or be beat Fresno St by and why?
I say the Scarlet Knights win by four because of a strong passing game, decent defense and home field advantage.

How come the Bruins never went after Jordan Hamilton?
They looked into him and decided to go another way.

Is Michael Snaer's delaying his decision a sign that UCLA is now a stronger look?
I'm not sure about that. I just think Snaer wasn't feeling the right vibe, so decided to wait a little longer.

Where does the term "red shirt" come from? I know the "non-contact" guys in practice wear red jersys, but they can be injuried or protected skill players (like the QBs) and are not necessarily sitting out a year.
I don't know, to be honest, but maybe this will help from wikipedia.

Will all the practices from now on be closed?
Yes, unless you are a recruit, a member of the local media or a family member of a player.

Soooo ... Here's the really big question for you this season. Are your Rutgers Scarlet Knights going to defeat those Bulldogs of CSUF?
Like stated a few questions above, I think the Scarlet Knights will ride the home field advantage and pull out a close win.

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
