UCLA starting left tackle Micah Kia broke his hand in Tuesday's practice, but he is casted and in gear. It remains to be seen whether or not he practices today, but he's dressed like he is going to practice.
Running back Kahlil Bell is not dressed for practice, as is protocol for the first practice of double day sessions. Also, tight end Ryan Moya, who was being stretched out at times during Tuesday's practice, will be either limited or won't practice today.
And here is the notebook I wrote for today's paper.
