Here is the audio of UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel after Monday's practice. As you will hear, he was not thrilled with how the offense practiced.

Brian,

Thank you for these audio files. They are extremely interesting and valuable for the rabid UCLA fan.

If I could make a suggestion: can you please encode the mp3 file at a higher bitrate? The current encoding (8KBps/8KHz) is way too compressed and making it extremely difficult to understand what's being said during the interview. If you could raise it to 32 or 64, the file will still be small, but the sound quality will improve dramatically.

Anyways, thanks a lot for the blog and keep up the great work!

These audio recordings are utterly incomprehensible. You could have been talking to a monkey for all I know.

On Firefox, Quicktime automatically opens the audio file and it is a bit garbled. This needs to be tweaked a bit and perhaps the IT guys would be of some assistance here.

I wonder if Chris Forcier thought he would ever be in the position to start against Tennessee and if he had put in the work in films, weightroom, practice, 7/7s, etc to be the leader. What an opportunity. To be coached by Norm Chow for the next 3 years. All he needs is some confidence. I would like to see him put in extra work before and after practice playing catch with the WRs.

While Brian post the post practice interview quicker,
CSTV on the official Bruin website post autio and video of the same interview for free if you set up an account and sign in.
That said I still appreciate the information you are providing us Brian, regardless of the sound quality

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
