UCLA quarterback Ben Olson will undergo surgery Tuesday to repair the broken bone in his right foot. He will have a screw placed in the foot and is expected to miss at least eight weeks.

I don't blame him. That screw worked wonders on his last injury. Great decision, Ben!

The season will be half over by the time he will actually be able to play again. At that point, will the coaches actually let him play?

Really, best case scenario is he's healthy enough for senior day and he takes a couple of snaps with the first team.
I think regardless of his health, UCLA will have moved on by the time he's in a position to be playing again. Good luck to him in his rehab.
