About Inside UCLA
This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.About this Entry

how does he break by planting the foot! I just hope craft can step in and do some good the first few weeks of the season
Brian, In addition to Rashaan, hasn't Craft played downs at the Div-1A level, or am I missing something?
Here's this from his UCLA roster page:
"In 2006 as a redshirt freshman at San Diego State, he appeared in nine games, starting five (@ BYU, Air Force, Cal Poly, @ Wyoming, UNLV) ... On the year, he completed 69 of 121 passes for 737 yards with four touchdowns and six interceptions ... In his first career start (at BYU), he completed 20 of 32 passes for 216 yards ... Also started against Air Force (12-for-19 for 133 yards and one touchdown), Cal Poly (two touchdowns), Wyoming and UNLV ... Threw touchdown passes of 60 (at Wyoming) and 49 (Air Force) yards ... Started in two of the team's three victories that season (Air Force, UNLV) ...
"...and freshman Kevin Craft battle for the spot." I think that should be "Kevin Prince"
