Prince vs. Forcier

| | Comments (1) |

UCLA offensive coordinator Norm Chow told me after Friday's practice that Kevin Prince was in the running to be the backup to starting quarterback Kevin Craft.
It's an interesting development because the staff has spent the last seven to 10 days saying Chris Forcier needed to work harder off the field. Personally, I think it will be hard for Prince to unseat Forcier, but that UCLA is even considering it says plenty about the situation.

It seems the Bruin staff is geting into the competition/mind games that Peety uses so effectively (the John Hale/Ayers thing is another example)

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
