With UCLA's D, 20-24 points per game might get the Bruins 8 or 9 wins. I am counting on the D scoring once per game, which they did in the scrimmage thanks to K. Bosworth. I am also counting on 1 special teams TD's per game, T. Austin scored in the scrimmage. That means the offense only needs to score 6-10 points per game, which they did in the scrimmage.

Go Bruins!

Brian, looks like Rick is not happy with your sneaks. Really? Rutgers gear at a UCLA scrimmage?

Please note the last sentence. Admittedly, depending on how one reads it, could it be interpreted that they're possibly looking past us?:

“Are we SEC ready or are we ready for a game like UCLA?” Fulmer said. “This’ll be a great film study for us.”

D-Force,
Not sneakers, but flip flops. I figures who would notice that. Oh well, sartorial splendor was never my strong point.

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
