Sunday's post-practice update

| | Comments (0) |

UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel said he still didn't have an update on injured quarterback Ben Olson because the x-rays have not been read. It is expected UCLA will have news on Olson's injured right foot later today.
The Bruins started double days today, and the development at quarterback was Kevin Craft and Chris Forcier took most of the reps. Surprisingly, Osaar Rasshan also got a significant amount of reps, while Kevin Prince received fewer and Nick Crissman had very few.
From talking to various folks within the program, I'm getting information that offensive coordinator Norm Chow and Neuheisel aren't sure which direction to go with the quarterback, but Craft and Forcier are the leading options.

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
