UCLA's DL line

| | Comments (2) |

Here is the notebook I wrote for today's paper. Also, the feeling along the defensive line is it may be better off, on a whole, than last year because of the size and strength of the starting four. Here is what Korey Bosworth had to say about it:
"All four of us are really strong, physical players,'' Bosworth said. "We work well together. We have two big, really strong tackles, and they're going to be the anchors."

On a side note, I know a lot of new people are coming by the blog and checking in, and even commenting. I appreciate it. However, please keep the language clean. I had to delete more comments in the last week than I had to in the previous six months.
Please, no foul language. Please make your point without the foul language.

As long as Bo Jacksons's nephew is not starting for our opponents, the brothers "Boz" should be just fine. Go Bruins!

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
