UCLA defensive tackle Brigham Harwell said Saturday was frustrating because the Bruins could not get much pressure on BYU quarterback Max Hall, especially in the first half.
"They were connecting on all cylinders, connecting everything,'' Harwell said. "Max Hall did a great job. Within a few seconds the ball was out every time, and we couldn't get pressure on him up front. They had a great scheme on us. They had a great game plan.
"We wanted to get pressure on him, and they did a great job up front. They did everything well. They played a perfect game. I don't know if Max Hall missed a pass or his receivers dropped a ball. They did everything right."
