about Trevor Theriot's right knee injury is that last night he walked off campus in a knee brace and on crutches. Rick Neuheisel said after Wednesday's practice that he hoped Theriot's injury wasn't serious, but Theriot was down on the practice field for a while when injured trying to catch a pass out of the backfield. Also, it was revealed later that he had a sprained MCL and X-Ray results are still pending.
No... All I need to know is how much alcohol I should consume to make the rest of the games this season bearable?

Big deal. Theriot does nothing for our offense. I always thought Chane Moline belonged at fullback. Theriot is a joke.
Watch it VB, you'll get the "Theriot is the greatest" crowd started again. Talking about how if he had the chance to run the ball he would win the Heisman and be the answer to all of UCLA's issues. That would quickly be followed by a link to an article saying he is the best fullback in college.
Other than Dominique Johnson, we have NO offensive playmakers. Kahlil Bell is overrated. Coleman, Carter and the rest are too young. We are HORRIBLE on offense. So horrible, I cannot believe they are on scholarship.
I remember when everyone was doing the same thing with Osaar Rashaan last year. "If you would just let him play, he would run for 300 yards and throw for 300 yards per game and will lead us to the promised land and win the Heisman. Osaar Rashaan is so athletic and strong and skilled that we just need to give him a shot!!!"
Then we gave him a shot... And you saw what happened... He made McCleod-Ebenezer-Belshazzer-Nebuchadnezzar-Bethel-Thompson look like Tom Brady.
Theriot... pffffff ... The guy has one DECENT kick-off return, and all of a sudden he is Lendale White.

I have observed something, and I want to know if everyone agrees with me:
Our "out of the tunnel" during the pre-game is very... well ... BORING!!! They walk out to some stupid acid rock song, and the song is very quiet at that. They gather with everyone in the stadium sitting on their wallets watching them. The music stops and there is silence for 20 seconds, then our comatose players run to the sideline.
CAN THE GAMEDAY RELATIONS PLEASE COME UP WITH AN EXCITING ENTRANCE FOR OUR TEAM? PLEASE!!! GIVE US SOME FOG AND A GIANT INFLATABLE HELMET TO RUN THROUGH. SOMETHING!!!!!! SOMETHING BETTER THAN WHAT WE HAVE!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are they talking about old "chop block Theriot"? or is that "hands of stone"?
They should play 'Right Now' by Van Halen.

And I liked the Van Halen song. Especially when it played loud. The entrance we have now is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BORING!!!
The pre-game run out was ruined before last season when they remodeled the locker rooms. Now instead of running across the field with cheerleaders and giant UCLA flags in tow, they merely jog about 50 feet down their own sideline. Pathetic. Also, in the pre-Dorrell era, the team would form a giant huddle just outside the tunnel and then after about 10 seconds everyone would start jumping up and down before storming onto the field. I used to get goose bumps watching all those shiny gold helmets bobbing up and down. Now I just have an extra beer or two in the parking lot and stroll in about 15 minutes later.
I, too, liked the Van Halen song. That's why I said it.
You're right. They don't even jump up and down now. They just stand there until the music stops and the place is silent. Then they jog to their sideline with the crowd golf-clapping them along.
Quite possibly the most boring entrance in football. HORRIBLE.

I completely agree about the team's entrance. I thought we were gonna have something great, upping it from the past 5 years. But alas, I was disappointed. I hope they bring back the old song. It was so much better. I too would get goosebumps.
Dohn, could you please forward our thoughts to the athletic department? The team entrance is really a vital part of the experience. Last week's entrance was an absolute joke.
I don't care what song they play as long as they play it LOUD. The fans should all be up screaming until their lungs bleed, fog and fireworks should cloud any ability to see whether the team jumps up and down or poseys over to the bench. Just add some punch to the pregame entrance! For the love of Football, athletic department, would you add some punch!
hopefully moline is our fullback, i too am so tired of all those stupid links about how fast and strong theriot is. he has had a solid chance but not done much and now it is moline's turn
