Here is the second set of answers:

Was the Bell/Coleman brawl a football related issue, or a personal issue? Who won? Blood? Are they friends now?
Brawl? Who said it was a brawl? And if anyone classified it as that, I want to know what they were watching. It was a typical practice scuffle that dealt with something on the field. I don't know if they are friends now, and I don't know if they were friends before. They co-exist, and that is all that matters.

In the past, when the players went over the wall, it was not as public as it was this year. Why was it such a big deal this year? Do you believe the players wanted to make it more public this time as a form of protest to all the scrutiny/controversey around the program leading up to the ditch day?
It was a big deal because they were trying to learn a new offense, things weren't going well, and, by the way, coach Rick Neuheisel asked them not to do it before spring practice began, and the players said they would oblige.

Is it standard fare that the quarterback's blindside is always protected by the best tackle? So, what I'm saying is, if Ben Olson were to replace Kevin Craft, replacing a lefty for a righty, would Jeff Baca/Micah Kia switch sides with Nick Ektabani?
No, that is not how it works. Some players are better on the left side than on the right side. It depends on what player is best playing watch position. And there is no plan to switch the tackles if Olson, a lefty, comes back.

Can you put up a list of all our injuries?
QB Ben Olson (foot), TE Logan Paulsen (foot), WR Marcus Everett (toe), QB Patrick Cowan (knee), LB Kyle Bosworth (knee), C Micah Reed (knee), FB Trevor Therior (knee), RB Aundre Dean (ankle), OT Sean Sheller (knee), C Kai Maiava (knee), RB Khalil Bell (ankle). Of those listed, only Bell has a chance to play against Fresno State.

Can you see any difference in the recruiting between this staff and Dorrell's?
Nothing in talent committed to the program yet, but one thing I know is there are more members of this staff, beginning with the head coach, that seem to like recruiting more than many members of the former staff.

What needs to be done in order for ucla to lower their academic standards for student atheletes? Is anything currently being done, say by CRN?
A miracle is needed. This is way beyond anything coach Rick Neuheisel or even athletic director Dan Guerrero can do. If it were that simple, it would be done by now.

Is our offense so bad that it won't allow Bell (and eventually Everett) to make an impact? In other words, can they help out once they return?
I don't think to the level needed to make the offense decent. The problem is Bell still needs holes to run through, and Everett needs a quarterback who can get him the ball. So before the offense can get better, the offensive line and quarterback Kevin Craft must improve.

Do you know if CRN and/or Dan Guerrero have or will try to get the administration to increase the number of special admits? If so, do you think they will be successful?
No, I don't think they can more special admits. As a matter of fact, I am hearing that there will be fewer special admits this year than last year.

Weren't you going to post the participation chart after the AZ game? And are you sure you cannot post the travel squad for road games since I read about the UCLA and USC travel squads, to be polite, in other places?
Tell me where you read about the UCLA travel squads. I can list guys who are going to go, but I cannot list all 65 guys. My guess is I could accurately tell you 62 or 63 of the travel guys for conference games, but I would like to know where you are getting the information. As for the participation chart, I forgot. Sorry about that. I will do it this week.
