Answers, Part XII
Here is set No. 12:
Can you do a "fun quick hitter" like Norm did? I think your fans would find that interesting or at least extra ammunition to heave your way when you stir the pot.
You know what? On Monday I will post something asking for everyone to send in a question, and maybe what player they would like profiled, and do it for later in the week.
If or when Coach Walker leaves, which coaches do you see him taking? Do any of the defensive coaches stay or have a shot at the D-coordinator spot?
I think if Walker leaves, there is a very good chance he will take a few of his assistants with him. That said, I think Neuheisel is the type of coach that would want to make a big splash in hiring a defensive coordinator, so I do not see someone being promoted to the spot.
who is more charismatic Coach Carrol or Cosch Rick? Who is a better dresser?
I don't know who is more charismatic since I don't get to deal with Carroll very often, but I think Neuheisel is a snappier dresser. And I'm sure everyone knows what a fashion plate I am, so I am surely qualified to make that assessment.
Are you aware of any immediate or long term effect the credit crunch will have on the Pauley renovation?
It is creating a crunch, but it is too early to tell just how much of a crunch.
Could you let the athletic department know that our "team entrance" right before kickoff is VERY boring? They need fog and a big helment or something. It is so boring, no wonder our players aren't pumped up.
I will bring it up to a few people and let them know your thoughts.
Last season T. Austin muffed 4 times on either KO or PR. This year he did 2 times already. Why can we go with another player to handle KO or PR like Brett Lockett who compete for it last season?
Because Austin continues to out-perform them in practice. In other words, he is the most sure-handed in practice, so you can imagine what we see in practice some days.
Will Mustain transfer? Oops wrong blog...Do you think we will see Prince replace Craft?
Ha, that made me laugh. Good one. I think at some point Prince will replace Craft, but I don't know if it will be permanent.
how much does UCLA make in ticket sales from its season ticket holders?
I don't know. I don't get the breakdown of where the season tickets are located. But I am told UCLA has sold 48,500 season tickets.
what is the average amount of money per game made from general admission/visiting fans tickets?
I have no idea.
who gives the green light to run the ads/marketing campaign? who comes up with them? i know we use ISP as the marketing firm so are they responsible for the ideas? can you enlighten us on the process?
The marketing for the Fresno State ads was done in-house, and not by ISP. Scott Mitchell is the marketing director, and apparently until now, had the autonomy to make the marketing decisions. However, AD Dan Guerrero told me Thursday night he would be more involved in marketing now.

ISP is in charge of corporate relationships such as adidas, etc. They don't do marketing.
ISP don't do marketing??
Really?
Not according to our press release,
http://uclabruins.cstv.com/genrel/101204aad.html
ISP is in charge of our Print Advertising along with other managed publications.
print advertising means game programs and managed publications means Bruin Blue. ISP has nothing to do with creating or place newspaper advertising. As Dohn said, that's all Scott Mitchell
we need a big helmet, lol i thought that was funny =D
