Here is set No. 11:

Brian, what's your biggest pet peeve in your profession?
How about in social situations?
My biggest professional pet peeve is inaccuracy. Unfortunately, I see it all too often.
In social situations, haven't really thought about it, but it drives me nuts when people talk loud on cell phones and make a lot of noise chewing gum.

I heard that UCLA is after a big man from Turkey, Kilic. How good is him? Is he a UCLA level impact player? Do you know anything about him?
He came into the country a few weeks ago. I posted a story about him on the blog a few days ago, and I know UCLA is scouting him, but are uncertain what to make of him. I'm also not sure of his academic situation. It's early in the process with him, so we shall see.

as a relative insider, do u think that ucla is destined to be a top 15 team year after year or more likely to compete at the level of stanford and nothwestern?
Relative insider? Ok. I think UCLA will fall in the middle of those examples.

Do you listen to Kevin and Bean on KROQ (106.7FM) in the mornings? I moved in from Nor-Cal and these guys are hilarious.
No, I don't listen to the radio in the morning. I spent time with my kids.

do u think that any of the current O-lineman will develop into all-conference level players? we all understand that they are inexperienced, but do they all have low ceilings?
I don't know how they will develop, but guard Darius Savage has the potential. I also think red-shirting transfer Kai Maiava has a shot at it.

No matter how good a freshman is, the fact that a true freshman is scheduled to start at offensive tackle shows how dire the situation is at Oline. People knew that it was going to be bad but is it worse than the coaches had envisioned?
I think it is worse than the coaches envisioned, and seeing as UCLA will start its fourth combination of offensive linemen in four games tells the story.

Do you still think UCLA will get 5 wins this year? I know it's a long way off, but what do you think would be a reasonable expectation for next year's team? More than 5, right?
I think three or four wins is more realistic right now, but that could change with a win against Fresno State. I'm not sure about next season yet because I don't know how the offensive line and quarterback position will develop.

To what extent do the football coaches "recruit" walk-ons? Do the coaches make any promises to get walk-ons to come to UCLA?
The coaches recruit "priority'' walk-ons, meaning those walk-ons are invited to play with the team and given first looks on the walk-on list. Those walk-ons are also told they could earn scholarships if they develop and work hard.

I couldn't help but to notice that your above admonition, that no readers' questions containing over 50 words would be answered, was exactly 50 words long. Did you intend that to be some kind of visual template by which to estimate the maximum, although not optimum, length for readers' questions?
Nice, 50 words according to my word counter. Questions get too convoluted with anything longer, and are usually nothing more than folks trying to show how much knowledge they personally possess rather than just asking the darn question.

Did you catch TJ Simer's column about Neuheisel? If so, was curious to know what you thought about it and about Simers in general.
I saw the column, and my only thoughts were it was accurate, and predictable.

Good one BW! LOL Although occasionally, when he isnt ranting like Dennis Miller on speed, VB will actually have something worthwhile to add. As soon as I spot a rant though, I stop reading him immediately and move on.

However, I avoid Simers' ramblings like it was laced with AIDS and bleeding profusely! What a you-know-what that guy is!!

Dohn's blog is clearly much deeper than meets the eye. In fact it's more like the Da Vinci Code than a sports blog...
