Busy Neuheisel
Not only did UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel take a helicopter to try and get from the Inglewood-Long Beach Wilson game to the Los Osos-Bishop Amat game Friday, he began his evening watching offensive line target Michael Philipp of Arroyo Valley of San Bernardino play at Pasadena.
And for those who asked, the helicopter was donated by a booster, which is not a violation, Coaches can use transportation donated by boosters, but recruits can no longer fly in for official visits on private planes.

Go get em coach Neu! It appears we are taking our recruiting to higher levels, literally...
GO BRUINS!! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
No more recruits on private planes - would that be the Malik Hairston rule?
It's nice to see boosters helping out the cause. Helicopter access is nice, I just wish we had access to Fletcher Jones' private jet like Pete Carroll does. Good start none the less.
I didn't realize that this was not a violation. My jet is at your beck and call, Coach.
I know CRN will get heat for trying to be flashy w/the chopper, but to me it just seems smart given the large number of games/recruits in the southland. By air you could probably double the games you attend given the average traffic issues on any given Thursday or Friday night.
Look out, Coach Airwolf is everywhere...
Interesting rule about the private transportation.
What are the rules for flying recruits in for visits? Do they have to fly coach? Because some of those boys are a little wide.
at least we hope the O-line recruits they are flying in wouldn't fit in coach :)
