BYU dominated the first quarter, amassing 10 first downs compared to one for UCLA. Cougars quarterback Max Hall is 10 of 15 for 104 yards and a TD while Bruins quarterback Kevin Craft is 3 of 6 for 15 yards.
BYU held the ball for 9 minutes, 36 seconds, and begins the second quarter on UCLA's 10-yard line, facing a second-and-5.
By the way, UCLA linebacker Kyle Bosworth is back in the game
