UCLA offensive lineman Scott Glicksberg said was breaking down BYU's 3-4 defense, which allowed 149 rushing yards against Northern Iowa and 133 against Washington.
But the leading rusher in both games was the quarterback, Pat Grace (72 yards) for Northern Iowa and Jake Locker (62 yards) for the Huskies.
It could give Bruins quarterback Kevin Craft, who is mobile but not in the same class of running as Locker, a chance to hurt the Cougars with his legs.
"Sometimes they look like a well-oiled machine. Their offense is, obviously, really, really good and their defense looked solid,'' Glicksberg said. "But then other times, Washington was able to do what they wanted to do, and Locker ran all over them. It's going to be tough, but they're a pretty straight forward team. They don't do a lot of stuff, but what they do, they do well.''
